Who can use Noon
Noon is exclusively for University of Toronto students. You must sign up with a valid @mail.utoronto.ca email address. By creating an account, you confirm that you are a current UofT student.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Noon.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Don't share your login with anyone else.
Your profile information should be accurate and honest. Fake profiles, impersonation, or misrepresentation will result in immediate removal.
How to use Noon
Be genuine. Treat your matches with respect. Use Noon to make real connections.
Harass, spam, or misuse your match's contact info. Don't use Noon for commercial purposes.
Noon is for making connections — friends, dates, collaborators. It's not for solicitation, marketing, or anything that would make another student uncomfortable.
Contact information
When you're matched with someone, you'll see their contact details (the ones they chose to share). This information is shared in good faith for the purpose of connecting the two of you.
Using a match's contact info to harass, stalk, spam, or harm them in any way is grounds for permanent removal from Noon and may be reported to UofT or relevant authorities.
Content you provide
Everything you write on your profile — your bio, answers, interests — should be your own and shouldn't be offensive, harmful, or misleading.
We reserve the right to remove profiles or content that violates these terms or makes the platform unsafe for other students.
No guarantees
We do our best to make good matches, but we can't guarantee you'll be matched every week (we need an even pool), or that every match will be a perfect fit. That's part of the fun.
Noon is provided as-is. We're a student project and while we work hard to keep things running smoothly, we can't be held liable for service interruptions or imperfect matches.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion.
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes, we'll email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Noon after that means you accept the updated terms.
